You can catch a flight from the main airport (SJU) to Vieques OR land at the main airport and take a taxi to one of two local commuter airports to catch a flight to Vieques.

Ceiba Airport (RVR) to Vieques (VQS)

Commuter flights to Vieques do not fly after dark so keep this in mind when booking your flights from the mainland.

Ceiba to Vieques/Vieques to Ceiba
Requires 1 hour 15 min taxi ride from San Juan International (SJU) to Ceiba (aprox. $110) Vans can seat up to 10 people. Ferry ticket $2 or you can purchase two days ahead of time on www. puertoricoferry.com with additional fees. Be prepared to wait or possibly be bumped if the ferry is full!
